My Official Tract
PLEASE NOTE: I changed up the way I’m sharing information and am now on Youtube. You should definitely come check out my channel. Click the link, and I’ll see you there! (FYI - My beliefs have changed on some subjects since writing for this website.)
Are you tired of Gospel tracts? You know, those little pamphlets that tell you about Jesus Christ? They promise you good news, and then they tell you that you must stop doing everything you do so that you will be worthy of Heaven. You surely want to go to Heaven, but it’s going to be impossible to do it. You will have to completely change everything about yourself. Is that really good news? No, it’s not. How would you like some real good news, the best news you will ever discover? Here it is: No matter who you are, no matter what you have done, and no matter what kind of person you are, God will save you in an instant. Do you want to know how? Let me show you.
Because of the wicked nature of people, God created the law (the Ten Commandments and Old Testament rules). The law has two purposes. First, the law gives us the knowledge of sin.
Romans 3:20: “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
Sin is the violation of God’s law.
1st John 3:4: “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression (violation) of the law.”
The second purpose of the law is to condemn everyone in the world as being guilty.
Romans 3:19: “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.”
What is everyone guilty of? Being a sinner.
Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
God wants people to go to Heaven, but sin must be punished, and everyone is a sinner. So God came up with a plan. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to earth to obey the law and live a sinless life. Then, Jesus Christ died on a cross in order to pay the price that God demands for sin.
Romans 5:8: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Sin cannot be forgiven without the spilling of blood.
Hebrews 9:22: “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission (forgiveness).”
Jesus Christ shed His own blood to pay for the sins of the world.
Colossians 1:14: “In whom (Jesus Christ) we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:”
Do you want to go to Heaven when you die? Nothing you do will ever be good enough to earn you a ticket to Heaven. Sinners are destined for destruction in the lake of fire, unless they become saved.
Revelation 20:15: “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life (everyone who has not been saved) was cast into the lake of fire.”
If you want to be saved (destined for Heaven instead of the lake of fire), then please understand the following: You don’t need to say a magical prayer. You don’t need to obey rules and religion. You don’t need to attend church. Being saved is not about what you do. It’s about who you put your faith in. If you put your faith in Jesus Christ, you will be saved. If you believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, died for your sins, was buried, and rose again, you will be saved, and Heaven will be your future home.
1st Corinthians 15:1-4: “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
